Also, I SAW THE NEW STAR WARS MOVIE SATURDAY!!!!!! Insert a video of Lois giggling geekily for five minutes straight here... not that she did that or anything. ;)
I did liked it.... it wasn't the next best thing to sliced bread or anything but it was good. Better than the prequels... but that's not saying much. ;) Hopefully I'll have a review out soon. :)

I participate in the Broke and Bookish secret santa this year for the first time and my package came in the mail this past week! I got a copy of Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World that Can't Stop Talking, Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone (now I have only one Harry Potter book left to acquire!), chocolate (very Lois approved) and real Tea... as in not even in a bag... loose leaf tea.... I've never had loose leaf tea before! :)
I can't wait to celebrate Christmas with my family and I wish you all a very blessed Christmas! :)

100 books in a year would be amazing to me! I'm doing good to get half that number. I like planning my reading, too - but usually end up reading something completely different. Hope you have a good week of reading and enjoying the holidays!
ReplyDeleteThis last year I had my year so planned out I couldn't read something different... I'm going to be much more flexible this year.
DeleteYay for Star Wars- although I didn't love it it was nice to see it back on the big screen. I needed to see more Luke Skywalker and more sense of the bigger picture, rather than recycled plot points, but maybe that's just me. I liked Rey a lot.
ReplyDeleteI agree. I'm sentimental though so even though it was recycled I couldn't help but like it. I think a lot depends on where they go with the rest of the movies.
DeleteThe Goodreads Challenge is the only one I joined this past year...and I set my bar so low that I exceeded it. That works for me! LOL.
ReplyDeleteI have Rebecca on my shelf for a reread...whenever I find the time.
I read the book Quiet this year, but I didn't enjoy it...others did, however. Thanks for sharing...and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
That's a good way to succeed! ;)
DeleteCongrats on 100 Books! *high five from far away*
ReplyDeleteSometimes, I feel like I spend more time planning what I'm going to read than actually reading. And then I toss the plan out the window after about five minutes. ;)
I definitely do spend more time planning than actually reading.
DeleteI loved Rebecca, it is in my Top 3 of all time books, did you enjoy it? Was this your first time reading it? Happy Holidays
ReplyDeleteI did enjoy it! It was my first time.
DeleteCongrats on completing your reading challenges - I agree it is satisfying to complete them. Have just come from Maree's blog and she loved Star Wars too - lots of excitement from the fans!
ReplyDeleteHave a great Christmas.
Thank you!
DeleteCongratulations on finishing your challenges and meeting your goals for 2015. I enjoy planning my reading too but am usually only a month ahead. Come see my week here. Happy holidays and happy reading!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteOh....Rebecca..LOVED that book.
ReplyDeleteI read another of hers that I never knew existed....Jamaica Inn.
ENJOY your day, and Merry Christmas!!

My It's Monday, What Are You Reading
I'm interested to read some of her other books now too.... especially Jamaica Inn. I can't wait to see if I like it. :)
DeleteCongratulations on 100 books! Wow.
ReplyDeleteHow cool that you're reading the Institutes! Calvin is pretty popular in our house. :D
I saw Star Wars yesterday. It wasn't AMAZING, but it was amazing, if that makes sense:)
I know exactly what you mean. I loved it but I didn't love it. ;)
DeleteCongratulations on finishing all your challenges! I'm not done yet, but there's over a week left, so maybe. And I'm enjoying being the first in my house to have seen Star Wars, although I'll take the kids out sometime this week so they can catch up.
ReplyDeleteHappy Reading in the New Year!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!! That must feel awesome :D
