I love them myself :)
DeleteOh and PS. Congrats on passing your first exam. (I pressed 'publish' too early!)
ReplyDeleteThanks! :)
DeleteAhhh Anne of Green Gables is such a comfort classic - hope you enjoy it too :-)
ReplyDeleteI know! I love it so much. :)
DeleteStudy does take up a lot of time so any recreational reading is amazing. Nice listening to Anne of Avonlea.
ReplyDeleteIt does! :(
DeleteGlad you did well on your first exam! Good luck on the rest. I know when I was in college my reading totals were way down. But school is most important for now.
ReplyDeleteCheck out my Monday Post
Thanks! :)
DeleteI love Thomas Hardy. Have you read this one before. Some other great books on your list too - though Wuthering Heights is one I have never managed to finish.
ReplyDeleteFar From the Madding Crowd is the only other one I've read of his books and I loved it. I'm hoping to read Tess of the d'Ubervilles someday soon. :)
DeleteCongrats on your first exam! Under the Greenwood Tree looks interesting. I can't say as I'm fond of the Hardy that I've read, but I think Under the Greenwood Tree may be worth a try. And it looks like you've got some great rereads coming up soon!
ReplyDeleteUnder the Greenwood Tree was called his happy novel and I would agree but still I think it was also depressing in a sense... you'd have to read it to know what I mean.
DeleteWe are singing a peice in my community choir called Under the Greenwood Tree... I wonder if there is any connection?
DeleteYou have an interesting list. Wuthering Heights is one of my favourites. Watership Down I read ages ago. May have to re-read in the future. Congratulations on passing your first exam. Good luck for the rest of the year.

Thank you! I'm not sure how I'll like Wuthering Heights from what I've heard of it but I'm interested to see what I think of it. :)
DeleteCongrats on making it through your first exam!
