Great list of books that came to your possession recently! You've listed a number of books by Dickens I've yet to read, in particular Nicholas Nickleby; I must've watched an adaptation or two of the book but have yet to read the book itself. That might be the next title of his I read...
ReplyDeleteHappy reading! My TTT
It's a good one! You should definitely read it and if you haven't seen the Royal Shakespeare Theater's production of it you definitely should.
DeleteYou graduated????? AWESOME!!!!
ReplyDeleteI still have a year of undergrad to go . . . and then after that I'm going to work on a PhD in History, so I'll be a while :)
Yes I did! A PhD in history? That is so cool! I always loved history growing up and that was always something I was interested in... obviously went in a very different direction but I still love it. :)
DeleteRebecca is such a great book and the Anne series is one of my all time favorites. I struggled through Great Expectations earlier this year and while I still don't get along with Pip it did give me a new appreciation for Dickens. Enjoy your new reads!
ReplyDeleteI don't like Great Expectations as much but I hope to re-read it next year and see if I like it better the second time. I was pretty young when I read it the first time.
DeleteFabulous list! But then any list with Dickens and Anne on it is bound to be fabulous in my eyes! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteIndeed! :)
DeleteI've really got to read more Dickens... Hope you enjoy Waverley. I read it last year and enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteI'm intersted to see how I like Waverly. I loved Scott's Ivanhoe when I re-read it this year so I have high hopes for his other book. :)
DeleteMmmm, good list! Rebecca is on my top ten list, and I dearly love Anne of Green Gables and Patrick O'Brian's naval novels. And I like the Rabbi Small mysteries too, but I think you know that ;-)
ReplyDeleteYep! I was thrilled to get the books. :) I hope I can get to them soon. :)
DeleteThat's a lot of Dickens! :) Have you read all of these books before or will any of them be first-time reads?
ReplyDeleteFun list!:)
ReplyDeleteWhat's Waverley about?! I hadn't heard of that one, but if it's Sir Walter Scott...
:D
I really don't know anything about Waverly... I just saw Sir Walter Scott on it and bought it!
