Top Ten Books I'd Love to Read with a Book Club

Today's theme for Top Ten Tuesday is my top ten books I'd love to read with a book club if I had one.  These are all books I've read before but I'd love to read again with someone to discuss them with. There were so many I thought of that I ended up with more than ten. Oh well! :)
  1. Brave New World by Aldous Huxley
  2. 1984 and Animal Farm by George Orwell
  3. Farenhiet 451 by Ray Bradbury
  4. Lord of the Flies by William Golding
  5. The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
  6. Till We have Faces by C.S. Lewis
  7. The Bible
  8. Any Shakespeare
  9. Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad
  10. The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorn
  11. Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller
  12. The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway
  13. Guilliver's Travels by Jonathan Swift

  1. Those are all wonderful choices! I like how you put "any Shakespeare" down--there are simply too many good ones to choose from!

  3. Great list! I'd love to discuss Brave New World, Fahrenheit 451, Animal Farm, & 1984 with a book club! And any Shakespeare would also make for good book club discussion :)

    1. It's a lot of those "future" ones that I want to discuss I noticed. There's so much interesting food for thought in those.

  4. Heart of Darkness would be brilliant! I hadn't even thought of that one. And the discussions topics for The Great Gatsby are endless. Great choices! I can see lots of the debate with all of them!

  5. The Great Gatsby is always interesting to be read together and discussed! I might get tempted to reread it next year... ;)

    1. I feel like I didn't appreciate it as much as I could have the first time I read it so hopefully I will the second time... and maybe I really will have someone to discuss it with. :)

  7. Interesting list, Lois. And I have read all but no. 6 and 10. Whilst I have not enjoyed all of them (4 and 9), I think they would all be fabulous book club choices.
