I liked the storyline... I have a soft spot for kidnapping story lines... but the writing, while beautiful was some some of the wordiest and most tedious I have ever read.... and I've read and love Dickens. I just feel like the story that Cooper was telling could have been told with less of those tedious sentences and still would have been an amazing story. Beautiful prose, I love, tedious, please no.

I'm now officially one test, one pharmacology assessment, one clinical performance examination and one final away from Christmas break! So close... and so far! :( I feel like this whole month is going to be a roller coaster careening right into December and the dreaded finals week... so it begins....
I know I didn't post an "It's Monday" last week but it's been stressful with nursing school! For clinicals I'm doing ICU right now which is amazing and I love it but there is so much paperwork involved! I did get to see an open heart surgery, which has been my dream since taking Anatomy and Physiology three years ago. It's also something I get to mark off my bucket list. :)
I had a brainwave about a reading challenge (well hopefully it's a brainwave and I'm not stealing someone else's idea) so I'm going to host ANOTHER challenge! :)
