A Look Back at 2015 and a Look Forward at 2016

2015 was an incredible year in many ways and introduced many changes in my life. Here's a list of highlights for me.

I turned 21 and had my first drink with my family

Went on a family ski trip to Colorado

'Dad and I at the top of the mountain on our 2015 ski trip. :)'

Graduated from nursing school (finally!)

'After months of being gone from Facebook to focus more on school I'm back! Since I've been away, I graduated from nursing school, passed the NCLEX (nursing state boards) and got my first nursing job at Kansas Medical Center. :)'

Got my first nursing job

Moved back home

My brother and my best friend got married

Now here's looking forward to 2016!

A few literary goals

  • Read over 100 books again.
  • Make non-fiction (especially theology) a primary focus this year for reading.

A few life goals

  • Go on my church's mission trip to Costa Rica- I really want to go back to Costa Rica in 2016. I did not go this last year with how busy I was but I would love to go again this next year.
  • Go on my church's youth mission trip to Nebraska as a chaperone- My little sister is very enthusiastic about me coming so we'll see. I'd have to make sure I had the time available to go on both mission trips.
